Hi all, It’s been awhile, I know.
So a couple of weeks ago, I updated my website. After doing so, low and behold,
my previous blog posts didn’t carry over
to the new site. Basically, I am back at
Isn’t that a lot like life though? I mean, I’m pretty sure almost everyone can relate to having to start all over again after something didn’t work out. Whether it was consistently working out and eating healthy, finding a new job, breaking old habits, relationships, moving, etc. Regardless of what you have faced or are currently facing, we’ve all been in that same exact spot. And well if you haven’t, you’re one of the few.
Sometimes starting all over feels like a reset, and we’re excited to move to the next chapter. But other times, we feel defeated. We feel like we wasted our time, or that we just can’t win. The truth is, that maybe ya, that one thing didn’t workout because it wasn’t meant for you. But even if it didn’t workout, it got you to a place where you can hit the reset button and move forward to the next opportunity.
I don’t know if you’ve seen Disney’s Meet the Robinson’s or not, but in the movie, the family has this slogan and it says, “Keep Moving Forward.” Even though this movie came out ten years ago and it’s a cartoon, I think the quote is still relevant. The core of it is, regardless of what life throws at us, we have to keep moving forward. We have to keep looking for the next open door. I know that a lot of times, it’s easier said than done. But, as my mom always tell me, we have to dig deep.
We have to dig deep to reach our full potential by to pushing through adversity, or through our exhaustion from long days. Regardless of what the obstacle you may be facing, you can get through it. We all can.
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
